MULTIMEDIA FILES ORDERED BY BOOK, CHAPTER AND VERSE
DISCLAIMER -
This website complies with the “terms of use” listed on the official website: jw.org. I am not the author, the publisher or the owner of the contents.
None of the links, images and videos are hosted on this website: they all point solely and exclusively to the digital library of jw.org.
This index is only meant to be a handy tool to call up the contents of the official website in an ordered way (according to the book, the chapter and the Bible verse the multimedia content refers to).
WHAT IT IS FOR -
The video is spoken in Italian. YouTube subtitles can be auto-translated into English.
Historically, this simple initiative started as a personal study project. My aim was to have an index, ordered by key scripture, of the “Morning Worship” talks, to use with the daily text. Following the same order found in “Bible Verses Explained”, I did not have to rely on the various similar lists going around on Telegram and WhatsApp, which have the drawback of not being updated “dynamically”. Little by little I then started to include the related “Bible Accounts” as well, plus other resources.
The usefulness of the project now lies in bringing together in a single place, in the Bible order described above, and therefore conveniently and quickly, all the multimedia resources one may need while examining the daily text, or while following one’s own Bible reading schedule; always keeping to the order - 1. Bible book 2. Chapter 3. Verse.
The aim, in the end, is to encourage personal reading of the Holy Scriptures, making it more “enjoyable”, by using the extensive collection of multimedia aids provided by Jehovah’s organization. It is hoped that this free resource may help anyone who wishes to ‘get the most out of’ their Bible reading schedule.
On the home page the books are gathered in boxes, divided into groups (Pentateuch, Historical Books, etc.): just tap the box of a book to open it.
On the page of each book the chapters are closed in boxes (for example “Genesis 1”): tap a chapter to open it and see its contents, tap it again to close it. This way you get straight to the chapter you want, without having to scroll through the whole page.
Inside each chapter, below the contents of each verse, there are two buttons with the verse: “Gen. 1:1 wol” opens the verse on wol.jw.org (on a computer in a small window, on a phone in a new tab), “Gen. 1:1 jwlib” opens it in the JW Library app (if it is installed); below them, “▸ Textual references” opens the box of references: tap it to see the two indexes of the publications of the Watchtower Online Library, Index 1930-1985 and Index 1986-2026, with the number of references; tap an index to see the list of publications, each one linked to the exact point on WOL. The publications in grey are not available online (as on WOL).
After the two indexes, the group “IT-1 / IT-2” may also appear: it contains all the references to the two volumes of “Insight on the Scriptures” listed in its Scripture Index for that verse; some may repeat references already in the two indexes, as also happens on jw.org. Tap “IT-1 / IT-2” to open the Insight Scripture Index on wol.jw.org at the line of that verse; tap the small arrow next to it to see the list of references, each one linked to the exact point of the article.
The groups “w04-09” may also appear: they are the points of the articles “Highlights From the Book of ...” published in The Watchtower from 2004 to 2009 (sections “Scriptural Questions Answered” and “Lessons for Us”) that are not already in the two indexes. Tap “w04-09” to open the article on WOL; tap the small arrow next to it to see the list of references, each one with its type (“scriptural questions” or “lessons for us”) and linked to the exact paragraph of the article.
The groups “Si” may also appear: they are the verses quoted in the chapters of the book “All Scripture Is Inspired of God and Beneficial” devoted to the 66 books of the Bible that are not already in the two indexes. Tap the small arrow next to “Si” to see the list of references, each one linked on WOL to the exact paragraph of the chapter (for example, “si 14 ¶10”); in brackets, when the quotation covers more than one verse, the passage quoted is shown.
The groups “Questions From Readers” may also appear: they are the questions of the feature “Questions From Readers” in The Watchtower (from 1950 to 2026) that are about that verse and that are not already in the two indexes. Tap the small arrow next to it to see the list of references (for example, “w52 191”), each linked on WOL to the exact question; tap “(list)” to open “the list of all the Questions From Readers”, grouped by year and with a search box.
In the same box one or more “MWB” groups may also appear (for example, “MWB 1-7/8/16”): they are the references given in the section “Treasures From God’s Word” of the Life and Ministry Meeting Workbook for that week (from 2016 to 2026) that are not already in the two indexes. Tap the date to open on WOL the program of that meeting; tap the small arrow next to it to see the list of references. If the reference of the meeting covers more than one verse, the passage is shown in brackets (for example, “MWB 1-7/8/16 (Ps. 89:34-37)”).
The groups “Research Guide” may also appear: they are all the entries of the new “Research Guide” on jw.org (section on Bible verses) for that verse, with the title of the article; some may repeat references already in the two indexes, as also happens on jw.org. Tap “Research Guide” to open the page of the Guide on wol.jw.org at that verse; tap the small arrow next to it to see the list of references, each one linked to the exact paragraph.
In the books from Matthew to Hebrews, and in James, the contents of the chapters also include the thumbnails of the pictures and videos of the media gallery of the “Study Bible” on jw.org: tap a thumbnail to open it on jw.org.
In the four Gospels there are also the scenes of the video series “The Good News According to Jesus”, each one with its thumbnail, at the verse it refers to: tap it to open the video on jw.org right at the minute of that scene.
Among the “Multimedia references” of some verses there is also the “Sample Conversations” group: these are the “Sample Conversations” videos on jw.org (2016-2023) based on that verse, each one with its thumbnail; tap a video to open it on jw.org. Videos that were published more than once are listed only once. Tap “(more videos)” to open “the list of the videos that are not linked to a verse”, divided by year.
STATE OF THIS ENGLISH VERSION -
All 66 books are complete: every multimedia link of the Italian version is here, with the official English titles taken from jw.org. The Italian version remains the reference.
RECENT ADDITIONS -
New on October 11, 2026: among the “Multimedia references” of the verses there are also the “Sample Conversations” videos on jw.org (see above, “HOW TO USE IT”).
New in October 2026: below each verse, the buttons with the verse (for example “Gen. 1:1 wol” and “Gen. 1:1 jwlib”) open the verse on wol.jw.org and in the JW Library app; at the top of the books of Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea and Joel there is the link to the new “A Handbook to the Bible” on jw.org (the other books will be linked as they are released). The verse boxes also have the new “Research Guide” groups (see above, “HOW TO USE IT”).
Recently added, below each verse, are the “Textual references” from the publication indexes (Index 1930-1985 and Index 1986-2026) and, in the books from Matthew to Hebrews and in James, the thumbnails of the media gallery of the “Study Bible”. The chapters of the books are now in boxes that open and close (see above, “HOW TO USE IT”).
The “Dramatic Bible Readings” have recently been added. The relevant excerpts inside the videos and films indicated must be looked up manually, within the videos themselves, using the markers given in the “hours : minutes : seconds” format. Besides, since some videos explain more than one verse well, when this happens (rather infrequently, in fact) the same video is listed more than once.
LATEST UPDATE -
The list of the “Morning Worship” videos alone currently consists of 415 videos (as of 08/10/2026). However, there is not only the “Morning Worship”. Altogether there are several hundred links to various kinds of resources from the JW.ORG website. Every morning an automatic check verifies whether new “Morning Worship” videos have been published on JW.ORG (and whether there is anything new in the other contents already on the site, such as “A Handbook to the Bible” and the “Research Guide”); when new ones come out, they are added in their place, in order of book, chapter and verse.
FUTURE ADDITIONS -
In the near future, and always ordered by key scripture, the “Talks” contained in the monthly programs (JW Broadcasting), the talks from the “Annual Meetings”, the “Audio Dramas” and the video “Series” will be added as well.
THANKS -
I thank all the brothers and sisters who often send me messages of appreciation, because they find the shared work useful for their personal Bible reading schedule.
“What if I lose the link? How do I find this index again?” -
Simply search Google for “la bibbia multimediale” (the Italian name of this index): the website “digiacomo.info” will appear among the very first results.
